Matthew Williams

Upon the first meeting(s) with Matthew he tends comes off as shy, reclusive and very polite. Too polite sometimes. He easily runs out of things to talk about, his days consisting of work or home life, and will admit his life is generally BORING.Others’ well-being and happiness come before his own, even if he turns into the butt of everyone’s jokes.

Don’t mistake him for complete pushover; Matthew can hold his own and will defend himself when he needs to and is very protective of those around him. He hates conflicts and will try to avoid it if he sees a way. In stressful situations he has a knack for remaining calm and assessing the situation. But seriously, beware when Hockey comes on or if  you go with him to a game. It gets ugly……

Double Brother

If you asked about his brother and if your eye is keen, you might see the corner of his mouth twitch. Their childhood was a bit rocky; though Matthew represses most, Alfred created another him to cope. In the present Alfred is split, physically, to Alfie (Sunshine and Lollipops) and Al (Agony and Bloodlust). Communications aren’t kept up very well, the Canadian not wanting to get in their businesses’, but he still loves his brother… Er, both of them, though he’s still a bit leery of Al after one fight.

Unknown to Matthew, he too has a dark side that shows every blue moon or when something has triggered him. He is not to be messed with.

Work and Home

Canada has a home near a growing town in the countryside of Ontario a couple hours from Parliament. For when he’s needed days at a time, there’s a condo 15 minutes from Parliament he owns and sometimes rents out to others for cheap. The Prime Minister is his prime boss, but Matthew runs errands and such for the other members, even secretary work. This is his way of looking out for the demands of his citizens.

He won’t speak his opinion on his country’s politicians out of respect and the fact he has to see them most weeks, but like all Nations there are favorites and dislikes. Matthew keeps an eye on what he can, knowing full well how humans can become with power in their hands, and has a few under his wing that do undercover for him if he thinks something is up.
